Easter Remembrance

As Easter approaches I want to push away the chocolate eggs and bunnies and remember the sublime reason we celebrate Easter. In that spirit, I've included two videos and a story. The first video (see above) is of Bruce R. McConkie's final testimony of Christ. He died just 13 days later but his testimony is one of the most powerful witnesses of Christ's divine gift I've ever heard.

The second is a "fairy tale" I read to my children called The Selfish Giant.  It's by Oscar Wilde, more known for his plays. This story, however is a beautiful remembrance of Christ and how his love can truly change hearts. You can find an online text version here: http://www.artpassions.net/wilde/selfish_giant.html

The third is a short video from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints about the final days and the resurrection of the Savior of the world and it speaks for itself:

Happy Easter and deepest gratitude for the atoning sacrifice of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
